To experience and expand your potential more requires the changes that come from discovering new knowledge and actions while removing or resolving the barriers that are blocking your potential. One of the best ways for me to guide and support potential is to teach and share information and strategies I have learned from decades of experience with successful and not-so-successful people and groups. You can read books and get advice, but when it finally becomes personal for you and you commit to making permanent changes, movement will begin. Continue this movement and major shifts can occur. The movement and shifts can be speed up and more powerful with the support and encouragement of others making the same changes and in a success-oriented environment with knowledge-based and practical strategies guidance.

I take a very personal approach to supporting and helping people live their potential by sharing information and strategies in succinct and clear ways so it can all be used easily and immediately. My intention is to make living your potential and the changes needed to do that sensible and even simple. This is done providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment and providing as much guidance and support as possible.

Because change takes time and is so personal together we take our time to layer the new information and actions while peeling back the layers of barriers. Because potential expands as you experience it, this process of layering is the best way to make change, especially change that is permanent or transformational. Have fun, learn at your own pace, get the personal support you need, and get the most up-to-date information and strategies by just picking up your phone.

2011 begins a return for me to actively teaching and coaching through presentations, workshops, and teleclasses. It all begins with a new lecture series outlined below. If you are in the St. George area, I hope you will attend one or all of the free lectures being hosted by the Green Valley Spa. in addition to the lecture series I will also be offering workshops at Green Valley where we can spend some time exploring and discovering information and strategies for your personal use. It is the direct experience of learning and experiences in these workshops that can be the turning point for making changes, figuring something out, and knowing how to expand your potential and your happiness. These lectures and workshops will also be available to the guests at the Green Valley Spa, so if you are planning a trip to the Spa look at the schedule and join me while you are here in St. George.

The Better Living Lecture Series

at the Green Valley Spa

This series of eight 60 minute, Wednesday evening lectures presents practical information and useful strategies for a better life, improved relationships, more enjoyable work, and better health. The lectures are FREE and open to anyone over the age of eighteen. They begin each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Green Valley Spa Conference Room and include a handout and recommended resources.

 

January 5 - Applying the “Six Truths” of a Better Life

If your life isn’t getting better you are probably repeating choices based on old beliefs and fears rather than these six universal truths. Beliefs can be changed and fears diminished by applying these powerful truths to guide your daily choices and interactions. Also discussed will be how a truth differs from a belief and the degrees of awareness of truths in our lives.

 

January 12 - Being Your Authentic Self: How to Discover the Plan for Your Life

Your authentic self is your best guide for joy in work, relationships, and daily living. You were born with a life plan containing six components of who you were meant to BE. Discover these components and their unique relationship to your experiences and life makes more sense while choices become much clearer. Knowing the plan for your life is the most important information you can know about yourself and the most affirming. When you know what's in your plan you will have a strong foundation for making decisions about relationships, career, and circumstances that support your authentic self and about making changes where your authentic self is not or cannot be supported.

 


January 19 - Changing Your Negative Thought Patterns and Limiting Beliefs

We each use thought patterns and limiting beliefs to make life and interactions more difficult and success almost illusive. Identifying your patterns and limiting beliefs and then using a specific process to change and replace them with better patterns and perspectives is motivating and empowering. Includes how we form patterns and establish limiting beliefs and how our awareness is the critical key to changing what we think about ourselves and what we do.


January 26 - Living the Wisdom of “The Four Agreements” by Don Miquel Ruiz

One of the most powerful books for living a better life ever written. Living these four agreements, we can find the freedom to make daily choices that come from doing our best, being true to our word, and allowing others to do the same. Guaranteed to change for the better how you see everything. This wisdom is about how you use your personal power to choose and create your experiences and life. These agreements will make sense yet are not simple to apply, but well worth it.

 

February 2 - Improving All Your Relationships Using the 5C’s

Our relationships define our lives and experiences. Improving your relationships first with yourself and then with others can lead to better satisfaction and enjoyment. The 5C’s provide tools and guidance for navigating conflict and maintaining relationships that are mutually loving and supportive. Also includes a look at the "relating space" where all relationships live and breathe and how that critical space can be contaminated and restored.

 

February 9 - Maximizing the Law of Attraction by Designing and Writing Powerful Intentions

Most people are familiar with the Law of Attraction but don’t know how to maximize it and use it effectively to
attract what they desire. Intentions are a powerful and extremely effective tool that clarifies and targets your personal energy to what you desire and opens up the possibilities of experiencing it. This law is often misunderstood and applied with disappointing results because some of the critical pieces of using it are not understood or applied. Most importantly the law requires action and addressing the barriers that prevent action and intentions are a great way to clarify actions.s

 

February 16 - Setting Strong Boundaries: How and When to Say No

Boundaries are the tools for managing and especially protecting your time, space and energy. Following a specific four step process, boundaries are easier to establish and maintain. A major part of this process is knowing how and when to say no to the demands of others and situations. Boundaries work when we take full responsibility for them rather than blaming others for not honoring them. In addtion to time, space and energy, secondary areas for boundaries will also be presented.

 

February 23 - Answering Life’s Biggest Questions Using Inspiration, Intuition, and Inquiry

You always have access to personal wisdom to guide you to the best and right answers to any question. Inspiration, intuition and inquiry are three of eight tools that anyone can use to hear and know this wisdom. Learn how you can use these three “I” tools to answer life’s most challenging questions. Includes how important these communication skills are to tapping into your personal wisdom and the powerful knowing what is best for you at any tiime in any situation.

Discovering the Plan for Your Life: Knowing Who You Were Intended to Be


Would life be better if you knew your purpose for being here? Would decisions be clearer if you knew the best ones for you? There is a plan for your life that was intended to be the guide for you to live in love and joy and it will fit on an index card. You were born with this plan and it awaits your discovery. In your plan are six components that constitute your complete and unique authentic self. In this workshop we explore all six components of your plan and bring them together for you to see the sense of everything that has happened to you and provide a clear path for what to choose next in all areas of your life. This unique process for discovering your plan is affirming, fun, and enlightening. You will walk away with renewed respect for your purpose for being here, your gifts to fulfill that purpose, and the power you have to contribute to the world. The workshop will cover:

The Mental Essentials: The Mental Skills Every Athlete Should Know and Use

We all use four mental skills to navigate our lives and everything we do. No where is this more obvious than with athletes and how they use mental skills to support peak performances or to block them. Knowing how to use these mental skills effectively can increase success and open up the zone for peak performances. The skills are used for enhancing practices, learning skills more efficiently, and building self-confidence. This workshop teaches how to use these essential mental skills effectively and how to stop using them to frustrate performances and block consistency. The materials, techniques and skills are useful to anyone who performs including acting, music, and dance, as well as anyone who wants to use their mind more effectively. Areas discussed with techniques and solutions include:

• Getting into the zone

• Setting up peak performances

• Anxiety/activation control

• Focusing and refocusing

• Visualization and mental practice

• Self-talk/affirmations/dialogues

Living the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction has been in the news a lot recently with people wondering how this universal law works for them or can work to help them attract what they want. Unfortunately, much of the information is incomplete and even misleading. In this workshop the Law of Attraction is explained from an understandable quantum physics and energy perspective with an emphasis on how to use this powerful law better. This includes how to stop using the law against ourselves and start using it to easily attract people, situations and things into our experiences. Clarifying intentions and making choices that support our intentions is the secret to making the law work. There are ten choices that clarify desires, activate intentions, and match energy vibrations to what you desire. Finding Balance in an Unbalanced World: Maintaining Harmony

Between Mind, Body, and Spirit

Are you seeking balance by hoping for more time or fewer responsibilities? This common approach to balance will not work, especially permanently.
